One line drawings are my practice in simplicity and minimalism. Attempting to create a likeness and feeling with just one continuous line can be harder than it looks. The diverse animals of San Juan Island were the influence for a series of one line drawings to capture the beautiful animals that surround me. A male Stellar Sea Lion is the largest sea lion in the world. In the spring you can see large congregations of the sea lions within the islands. They are deep diving hunters, who can themselves be hunted by the transient orcas, are always impressive to see or hear.
