One line drawings are my practice in simplicity and minimalism. Attempting to create a likeness and feeling with just one continuous line can be harder than it looks. The diverse animals of San Juan Island were the influence for a series of one line drawings to capture the beautiful animals that surround me. Orca Whales are a prize to see in the wild. Here in the San Juan's there are resident Orcas who hunt fish, mainly salmon, and live within the salmons range, and transient Orcas who travel throughout the world and eat a more various diet which included seals.
