Market Day, the first in a series of 2, a watercolor painting of of the bounty I brought home from a farmers market. Eggplant, potatoes, carrots, onion, and a leek. Each vegetable was created by spraying paint onto the canvas after cutting out templates for them, creating a puzzle of pieces to pull out to expose the paper underneath it to the paint. Using 4 colors only, I then sprayed a varying amount of each vegetable to create the correct hue. I hope it makes you hungry!
