Jones Island South Shore

One of my favorite islands to moor in the San Juan Islands is Jones Island. Jones Island is a marine state park with only primitive camping available, no houses, no permanent residents. Our favorite time to visit is in the Spring and Fall, when there are few other boats cruising the area, each hike is filled with birdsong. Anchoring in the south bay affords views of San Juan Island.
